چکیده
background: rheumatoid arthritis is a type of inflammatory pain and is an autoimmune and chronic inflammatory disease which can lead to hyperalgesia, edema and decreased motor activity in affected area. mesenchymal stem cells conditioned medium (msc-cm) has anti-inflammatory mediators which can regulate the immune responses, alleviate inflammatory symptoms and has a paracrine effects too. the aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of mesenchymal stem cells conditioned medium on behavioral aspects of inflammatory arthritic pain which induced by cfa adjuvant. materials and methods: complete freund’s adjuvant (cfa)-induced arthritis (aa) was caused by single subcutaneous injection of cfa into the rats hind paw on day zero. msc-cm was administered daily and intraperitoneal during the 21 days of the study after cfa injection. hyperalgesia and edema were assessed on days 0, 7, 14 and 21 of the study respectively with radian heat and plethysmometer instrument. results: the results of this study indicated the significant roles of msc-cm in betterment of inflammatory symptoms such as hyperalgesia and edema during different stages of inflammation caused by cfa. the continuing injection of msc-cm could reduce the inflammatory symptoms. conclusion: long term treatment by msc-cm can alleviate hyperalgesia and edema and decrease those to the level of the time before induction of inflammation.

Effects of Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells-Conditioned Medium on Tibial Partial Osteotomy Model of Fracture Healing in Hypothyroidism Rats
Background: Hypothyroidism is associated with dysfunction of the bone turnover with reduced osteoblastic bone formation and osteoclastic bone resorption. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) secrete various factors and cytokines that may stimulate bone regeneration. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of MSCs-conditioned medium (CM) in hypothyroidism male rats after inducing bone ...

15 صفحه اولCaffeine Augments The Instruction of Anti-Inflammatory Macrophages by The Conditioned Medium of Mesenchymal Stem Cells
OBJECTIVES Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been shown to produce adenosine, express adenosine receptors, and communicate with macrophages and other cells. However, there is no information about the role of caffeine, as a popular drink and adenosine antagonist, on the crosstalk between MSCs and immune cells. The aim of the current study is to evaluate the effects of the conditioned medium of ...
متن کاملThe differentiation potential of gingival mesenchymal stem cells induced by apical tooth germ cell-conditioned medium
Gingival-derived mesenchymal stem cells (GMSCs) have recently been harvested; however, the use of GMSCs in periodontal tissue engineering requires further study. The present study established an indirect co‑culture system between rat apical tooth germ‑conditioned medium (APTG‑CM) and GMSCs, in order to determine the effects on periodontal tissue differentiation in vitro and in vivo. Using the l...
متن کاملEffects of the conditioned medium of mesenchymal stem cells on mouse oocyte activation and development.
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been reported to secrete a variety of cytokines and growth factors acting as trophic suppliers, but little is known regarding the effects of conditioned medium (CM) of MSCs isolated from femurs and tibias of mouse on the artificial activation of mouse oocytes and on the developmental competence of the parthenotes. In the current study, we investigated the effe...
متن کاملConditioned medium derived from mesenchymal Stem cells regenerates’ defected articular cartilage
Background & Aims: One of cell- based technical issues associated with cartilage repair assay is delivering cells to the site of the parts where damage is created. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) with their chondrogenic potential are ideal candidates for cartilage regeneration. High expression of cartilage hypertrophy markers by MSCs would result in apoptosis and ossification. This investigation ...
